As well as playing around with Tiktok, I’ve been having lots of fun painting in the studio. You may be surprised to see quite a lot of black. You may already know that I recently lost my mum, very suddenly, and black was her favourite colour. I don’t usually paint with a lot of this colour, but I’m loving it.
Black is a surefire way to make a statement in your space. Not for the faint-hearted, the bold hue adds drama, and depth and shows real design flair.
From feature walls to tiles, appliances, joinery and tapware—and of course art there are plenty of ways to incorporate black into your kitchen, home or workspace.
